You can virtually arrange tiles from our upcoming game, Kohaku, according to the rules below. For a given set of tiles, the challenge is to score the most points!
When you think you've maximized the appeal of your pond, calculate your score and take a screenshot or picture of your tile arrangement. Then post your score and image to social media using the following hashtag: #KohakuChallenge
We'll be giving away prizes to the top score earner for each challenge, so be sure to participate in as many as you can!
New challenges will be created regularly, so follow us using the social media links at the bottom of our webpages to get the heads up.
A. Score as many points as you can using all 8 tiles provided.
B. Score as many points as you can using only 3 fish and 3 features.
How to Play
The fish and feature tiles must be arranged in a "checkerboard fashion". That is to say, if all fish were red squares on a checkerboard, the other tiles (the features) are the black squares. In gamerspeak, fish may not be orthogonally adjacent to other fish, and features may not be orthogonally adjacent to other features. Any tiles placed in your pond must touch edge to edge with at least one other tile in your pond.
